A Message From the Director

Hi, I’m Narissa, the founder and director of Avid Speech Therapy.

When I started Avid, my mission was simple: to help children grow, make progress, and experience real, measurable change in their communication. From the beginning, I have worked hard to keep therapy prices as reasonable as possible so our services can be accessible to more families. Even so, I know that cost can still be a barrier, especially for group and summer social programs that are not always covered by insurance.

Avid Gives was created as one small way to help bridge that gap. The t-shirts you see here were designed in-house by our team with our clients and community in mind. Any profit from each shirt goes directly toward funding our summer social programs for children who might not otherwise be able to participate.
